What is a Specialist?
Dr. A. A. Soyombo BDS, MS, Cert Ortho (New York)
Practice Principal - Specialist in Orthodontics
Dr Soyombo qualified as a dentist in 1978, obtaining his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Nigeria. He completed his Specialist Orthodontic training programme at the New York University College of Dentistry in 1984. He won some awards during his orthodontic training.
He has worked in Nigeria, USA and Saudi Arabia before gaining his Specialist Registration in the UK and working with his wife, a Specialist in Periodontics.
Dr Soyombo covers the full spectrum of Orthodontic treatment modalities which include fixed, removable and functional appliances, Invisalign, and orthognathic surgical cases.
Since 1994, Dr Soyombo has been working at this Specialist Dental Surgery, with his practice limited to Orthodontics.

Practice Principal - Specialist in Periodontics
Bola qualified in Periodontology at Eastman Dental Hospital in 1995. With her oral surgery background as well as Periodontics, she has a special interest in all aspects of aesthetic procedures involved in implant therapy. Bola is also involved with various Implant companies, providing implant training to general dentists both in the United Kingdom and Internationally. Implant Systems used include Astra Dentsply Straumann, Nobelbiocare and 3i.
Bola's special interest is in providing immediate implants (new innovative technology of "teeth in a day") for suitable patients and re-growing lost gums (solution for receeding gums).
Bola is a trained audit facilitator and assists dentists in incorporating clinical governance in their practices.
Dr Aubrey Baker MB Ch B (RSA); DA, PDD (Sed & Sp Care)
Anaesthetist
Dr Baker has been involved in General Anaesthetics and Sedation for the past 12 years and has performed about 35,000 anaesthetic and sedation cases. He has gained valuable experience from working in a number of hospitals in the UK, including Gloucester General Hospital, Cheltenham Hospital, Maidstone Hospital and Royal Tunbridge Wells Hospital, and South Africa.
His aim is to treat patients politely, respectfully and professionally at all times.
Dr Constantine Ong BDS (Brist) MFDS RCS (Eng) MClinDent (Lond) MRD RCS (Eng)
Specialist in Periodontics
Constantine qualified from University of Bristol Dental School in 1998 and won numerous prizes for his “elective project” carried out in the University of California, San Francisco. He then worked in several hospital posts and general practice both abroad and in the UK. During this time, he obtained the Membership in the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons, England.
He then completed a three-year specialist training in Periodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London. During his training, he was awarded a Masters of Clinical Dentistry with Distinction. He also obtained the Membership in Restorative Dentistry (Periodontics) from the Royal College of Surgeons, England and a certificate from the European Federation of Periodontology. He is registered as a Specialist in Periodontics with the General Dental Council (UK).
Constantine is able to provide a full-range of specialist periodontal care and implant dentistry. He has a special interest in cosmetic periodontal surgery (soft tissue and hard tissue augmentation) as well as implants.
Constantine provides periodontal and implant treatment based on the most advanced evidence based approach. His aim is to keep patients smiling, speaking and chewing with their own teeth or with dental implants.
Currently, he works in several specialist practices and also teaches at the Eastman Dental Institute.
Dr Neil Kramer
Neil qualified BDS (University of Witwatersrand) 1970, Higher Diploma in Dentistry 1978 and the M Sc (Dent) Endodontics 1982.
He was admitted to the Specialist Register in 1999, when it was formed by the General Dental Council (United Kingdom).
Neil has had vast experience in all aspects of general dentistry, working as a Private Family Practitioner for many years, prior to limiting his practice to Endodontics.
Neil has been a Senior lecturer in Endodontics for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate students at several universities, including the University of Witwatersrand, Stellenbosch and The Royal London Dental Hospital.
In addition to this, he has also lectured extensively and given course presentations both locally and abroad.
Mr Tamer Theodossy BDS, MSc (OMFS), MFDSRCS (Eng)
Tamer graduated from the University of Jordan with honours in 1997. Subsequently he obtained a Masters Degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with distinction from the Eastman Dental Institute in 2000. He also gained his Membership from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Tamer did his specialist training in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at University College London Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital. Since 2006he has been appointed to various Consultant posts around the UK and recently works as a Consultant Oral Surgeon at Royal United Hospital, Bath.
He is recognised by the General Dental Council (UK) as a Specialist in Oral Surgery. He is also recognised by the Jordanian Dental Association as a Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
His Specialist interests include Facial Deformity, TMJ Surgery, Facial Trauma as well as all aspects of Oral Surgery including Dental Implants and Bone Grafting.
Tamer is a member of the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and Jordanian Dental Association. He speaks fluent Arabic and has published widely in both national and international journals.
Mr. A. K. Songra, Consultant Surgeon
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Mr Ashok Songra is a Consultant Surgeon in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Ulster Hospital, Dundonald with Honorary Appointment at Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast.
Mr Songra has special interests in head and neck malignancy and salivary gland disease, facial trauma, facial cosmetic surgery, facial pain management, temporal mandibular joint disorders and lesions of the oral and facial region.
He previously worked in London & Barts Trust.
Dr Carol Subadan BDS, MSc (Perio), MFGDP RCS (UK)
Specialist in Periodontics
Dr Carol Subadan graduated from The University of Bristol Dental Hospital in 1984. She completed her specialist training in 1988 at The Eastman Dental Hospital. Her Specialist interests include Tissue and Bone Regeneration Techniques and Aesthetic Periodontal Reconstruction.
Working primarily in Periodontics, Carol has gained invaluable experience in all treatment areas most especially in treating advanced cases.
Carol has her own practice in Germany and brings her caring and professional attitude along with her skills to compliment ours. She also speaks fluent German.
Dr Peter Yerbury BDS (Lond.) MSc (Texas)
Specialist in Prosthodontics
Dr Yerbury graduated from Guy’s Hospital Dental School, London, in 1984. He spent a number of years in further hospital training appointments in Restorative Dentistry and Oral Surgery, before gaining experience in general dental practice with particular interest in Prosthodontics. He embarked on the North American Specialist training in Prosthodontics, completing the three year programme at the University of Texas in 1992.
He graduated with a Masters Degree in the same year, gained Specialist Registration in Prosthodontics in the UK and continues to be an active participant in study groups in UK, Europe and USA.
Dr Yerbury provides fixed restorations for many situations, ranging from single teeth to complex full mouth rehabilitation, in close co-ordination with other Specialists and referring colleagues.
He also has a particular interest in removable prostheses, with application of advanced functionally generated techniques. Where appropriate, implants are used to support both fixed and removable prostheses. Aesthetic evaluation and treatment is provided upon request in accordance with current, ethical Prosthodontic practice.
